      Triwizard Drinking Tournament 2019

If you have not been to the official TWDT thread, go through and read the OP! The Triwizard Drinking Tournament is a yearly charity pub crawl hosted by the Penny Arcade community in which the four houses of Hogwarts are split into two teams of fifty and unleashed upon Capitol Hill for a night of merrymaking and fund raising. In 2018 we raised $4463.60 in just a few short hours with all that cash going to Child's Play and securing bragging rights to the team that raises the most! For seven years the crawl roughly followed the Harry Potter books followed by a short break so that we could get horrible things involving chrome spray paint out of our system. Now the alumni of Hogwarts have returned to celebrate their time at the school with The Triwizard Drinking Tournament! Assembling themselves into teams based on the houses they grew up in they gather to celebrate all things witchy and wizardly! Last year the teams changed slightly! While we're still following the four house structure, the sub-teams are changing from Order/DE to custom team names to make things more fun for everyone and get rid of the us vs them connotations. I'll make sure to note which team used to be which in the thread so returning veterans can find their friends. You do not have to be a PAX attendee to come to this and I highly recommend bringing some cash because I have some surprises for people to purchase for donations to be revealed as soon as they're ready. If you're feeling crafty I also encourage you to bring your own stuff to sell for team donations! FAQs What sort of fund raising will be going on? We will be raising money for the Child's Play charity that donates toys and games to children's hospitals worldwide. Each team will have its own things to purchase via auction or outright buy so bring plenty of cash! We also ask for a small donation at the start of the crawl when you check in in exchange for your TWDT buttons and scorecard. Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? This is a bar crawl so yes. You will need to be 21+ and have a photo ID available to show the bar staff. You DO NOT need a PAX badge to attend this event!  Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Either a printed ticket or a digital copy on your phone is fine. You will need one of the two to get checked into the event. Can I reserve multiple sets of tickets for friends? No. Duplicate orders will be deleted. This is to give as many people as possible a fair shot at getting a spot. Your friends are welcome to register on their own though. What can/can't I bring to the event? While I encourage everyone to have fun wearing costumes to the event, do not bring any sort of weapons, fake or real, to the crawl. Wands and staves are fine, but as tempting as it is to show up with the Sword of Goddric Gryffindor, please don't. I don't want to see any attendees get tazed by cops or thrown out of the bars. Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? The official TWDT thread: On Twitter: @PAXTriwizard Via email:
