One Thousand Schools x BurnCycle Fundraising Ride

At BurnCycle, we are on a mission to harness the power of positivity and strength of community through MOVEMENT. On Friday, September 6th at 4:30pm, BurnCycle Seattle will be opening their space for the community to join together in support of One Thousand Schools in partnership with Students Helping Honduras - a nonprofit dedicated to alleviate extreme poverty in Honduras through education and youth empowerment. Come ride with us as we support our Burn Team member Kara and her fundraising team. 100% of all money raised directly funds the construction schools in Honduras. All levels are welcome! 45 minute BurnCycle class followed by light sips & connection. Class starts at 4:30PM, but please come by the studio by 4:15 to get to know everyone, stretch out, get your cycling shoes, and learn about our class. Shoes and towels will be provided! For this ride, ALL tickets must be purchased through the EVENTBRITE link -- this ensures that 100% of the donations go to the cause! Bike sign up will be at the time of the class or stop by the desk to get your bike locked in.  --- A little more about Kara  + the fundraising ride: This is my third year working with One Thousand Schools and Students Helping Honduras. Each year my passion for the organization grows, and I hope to share a bit about the cause and spread the impact within my community at home. I believe in the power of education, empowerment of children and women, and the enablement of communities to better their standard of living.  DID YOU KNOW: Honduras is the 2nd poorest nation in the western hemisphere and roughly 2/3 of the population lives in poverty. Honduras has the worst gang epidemic on the planet. Thousands of children lacking safety and education have been forced to seek refuge outside the country. EMPOWERMENT THROUGH EDUCATION: With access to a quality education and jobs, the Honduran people can fight back. There are 1000 communities in Honduras that lack access to a school facility.  By building them 1 at a time, we can create lasting change for students. Please join us in riding together - juntos para los ninos! Thanks! Kara + BurnCycle Team
