      EVENT DETAILS
Port of Seattle Police Department Volunteer K9 Decoy Program

Thank you for your interest in our volunteer K9 Decoy Training Program for the Port of Seattle Police Department.  Your participation is essential to our program's success!  IMPORTANT NOTE: IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE YOU MUST BE A BADGED PORT OF SEATTLE EMPLOYEE, OR A BADGED AIRPORT EMPLOYEE. PLEASE BRING YOUR SIDA BADGE WITH YOU ON THE DATE YOU REGISTER FOR. Please do not sign up any more than once per month. The dogs are very smart and will recognize decoys if they volunteer too frequently. All decoys should meet at Door 23 on the ticketing level, which is above Skybridge 4 and across from Alaska and Spirit ticket counters.  An officer will meet you there. When you arrive, they will give you the decoy explosive and tell you where to go and what to do. After the search team finds the decoy, you can return to work. If you have any questions, contact K9 Sergeant Hannah Minnehan at minnehan.h@portseattle.org or Sergeant Jason Coke at coke.j@portseattle.org.
